Ride to Reach, Rescue, and Restore

April 11 - 15, 2018

New Path Adventures exists in order to offer life-changing experiences to at-risk teens, through carefully structured and facilitated wilderness adventures and mentoring. Primarily these teens have been from Harris County, Houston Texas juvenile judiciary system.

This is a non-punitive voluntary faith-based program, which gives us the liberty to address all areas of the youths’ lives, physically, mentally, emotionally, morally and spiritually. The goal is to reach them with the program, rescue them with a new direction for life and restore them to healthy relationships with God, family, and society.

This benefit bicycle ride across Texas is the primary fund-raiser for the 2018 wilderness summer program. This 14-day backpacking adventure for an at-risk youth costs $630. The cost includes their food, equipment and program for the 14 days.

All riders will help us to bring awareness of the crisis and a solution to the crisis, as well as raise scholarships for these at-risk teens.Fundraising suggested minimum $630.00. (Rider's fees are additional)'

We welcome segment-riders; those who join us for a day of cycling through their town along the primary route. These riders will participate in any distance from 20 – 100 miles depending on the daily goal of the through-riders. They too, will raise scholarship money needed in order to give the opportunity for an at-risk teen to be challenged to put his/her life on a new path, a positive direction in life.

As a non-profit program, New Path Adventures relies heavily on the generosity and compassion of its partners and friends to be able to work with these at-risk youth. We welcome new partners and friends that have the same passion to reach and rescue this youth generation and gently guide them to restored relationships that will impact their world and the world around them. Please consider joining us as we see lives changed and placed on a new path of positive adventure.

2018's ride will consist of 4 daily loops, all beginning and ending at or near the same point every day. Centered in Fredericksburg, the heart of Texas Hill Country, these routes offer challenge and beauty combined.
